Job Summary

  • Role Overview:
    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager to lead our service department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the service operations, including overseeing a team of technicians, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and driving service department profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership:
    Lead, manage, and motivate the service team, ensuring high performance and continuous development.

  • Customer Service:
    Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing timely and effective service solutions.

  • Service Operations:
    Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow management, and quality control.

  • Financial Management:
    Manage the service department’s budget, monitor performance against targets, and implement strategies to improve profitability.

  • Compliance:
    Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and standards.

  • Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Essential:
    • Proven experience in a service management role, preferably within the agricultural machinery or automotive industry.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Sound financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
    • In-depth knowledge of machinery, tractors, or related equipment.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Desirable:
    • Relevant technical qualifications in machinery or automotive engineering.
    • Experience with industry-specific software (e.g., service management systems).
